Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why work with a College Admissions Consultant?
There are many reasons why a family may choose to work with a College Admissions Consultant. For some families, they are seeking a more in-depth approach while navigating the admissions process or they may need a little more direction than their current school guidance counselor can provide. Others may be interested in specific needs such as finding scholarships or extracurricular activities that best suit students branding goals.
By teaming up with B. Prepared Services, students and their families gain one-on-one support, the creation of manageable goals, organization throughout the entire process and most importantly, a coach who wants to see them win!
2. What is your process?
The first step is to contact us in order to arrange an Initial Consultation. This is the time that B. Prepared Services gets a better understanding of the client by assessing goals, discussing their current academic state and allowing both students and parents the opportunity to ask questions and/or express their expectations of the experience.
The second step is to decide which level of consultation is needed. We offer both hourly and package consulting services.
The third step is to begin your journey to college!
3. How early can we begin working with B. Prepared Services?
We offer a variety of packages that cater to clients as early as middle school.
Examples of ways we assist with middle school students include the creation of personalized college lists to explore and update throughout their high school years or provide guidance towards the selection of extracurricular activities and community involvement that best suit interests and goals.
Examples of ways we assist with high school students include course planning and navigating the college admissions process.
4. Do you guarantee acceptance into college?

However, keep in mind that we do guarantee to help students find and apply to schools based on their qualifications, interests and goals best suitable for their success.
